A 5-year (10-semester) program combining core courses, electives, minor degree courses, internships, viva and dissertation, with a strong emphasis on experiential and industry-linked learning.

Evaluation

The assessment broadly comprises of Internal Assessment (Continuous Evaluation Component) and External Assessment i.e., End Semester Examination. Each course carries 100 marks for theory with 60 marks for Internal Assessment and 40 for End Semester Examination and practical course carries additional 50 marks. The internal assessment will be through MCQ, Classroom Test, Assignment, Oral Presentation and Short Projects.

Courses

In the context of theory classes, one credit represents a one-hour lecture per week. On the other hand, for practical sessions, one credit corresponds to a two-hour laboratory session per week.

To obtain a B.Sc. Chemistry Degree (3 Years), students are required to complete a minimum of 132 credits. For those aiming for a B.Sc. Chemistry Honours Degree or B.Sc. Chemistry Honours with Minor Degree, a minimum of 182 credits must be fulfilled. For those aiming for Integrated B.Sc- M.Sc Chemistry Degree, a minimum of 212 credits must be fulfilled.

• Students from IGCSE/IB or international boards are eligible with an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi
